Program Overview

Our Tractor Training covers safe operation of agricultural tractors and implements. Students learn gear selection and traction management, hitching and operating common attachments (ploughs, tillers, trailers), PTO safety, and basic daily maintenance.

Courses are practical and field-based — ideal for farm workers, contractors, and equipment operators who need certified, competency-based training for safer, more efficient field work.

Successful participants receive a training certificate and guidance on safe maintenance and compliance for agricultural machinery.

Eligibility Requirements

At least 16 years old
Has had the permit at least 9 months
Has completed Driver’s ED Course
Has accumulated 50 hours of behind-the-wheel extra practice
Has received letter of eligibility from the State
